‘JOY COMES IN THE MORNING’
After nine years of marriage, the TABI OWANs may have wondered if the God they serve was able to give them children. If you ask them that question now, they will have a testimony to add to their belief. They trusted God and he blessed with a baby boy, Divine Favour TABI OWAN. They were at EBC last Sunday February 29, 2009 to dedicate the baby to God.

Many couples, who have been married for some time without the fruit of the womb in Africa, go through all kinds of abuse. When a couple does not have children, it is generally the fault of the woman. The men are hardly the cause even if medically he has a problem. Therefore the woman becomes an object of scorn, torture and abuse of all sorts. The pressure on her may not even come from her husband but from her in-laws who may want a grand -child at all costs.
No matter how strong in faith a couple is, there comes a moment in their lives when their faith is threatened and they may become confused in what and whom to put their trust when it is difficult to bear a child. If you asked the OWANs the story will not be different. But thank God that He is the one who gives children and that He is never late but on time. The Bible says that ‘weeping may last for a night but joy comes in the morning.’ For some, the night of nine years may be too long but no matter how long the night may be, there is the promise of the morning that comes with joy. We can vividly remember many families that have been put asunder because children were not coming forth. Their night seemed too long that they gave up. May the devil not continue to fool God’s children. Do not listen to his lies, decide to put your trust in God and in His word, He will never fail.
God in His faithfulness will bless each one of His children who put their trust in Him for ‘there shall be none barren in the land.’ Do not give up, the morning of your miracle is on the way.
